Speech title :Data and physical model dual-driven navigation using self-contained sensors under harsh environments
Abstract: Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) is designated as a critical technology in the US Critical and Emerging Technologies List. Today, spatiotemporal information and PNT services have become vital new infrastructure, and the large-scale application of the China BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) has entered a critical stage of marketization, industrialization, and internationalization. To address the three major challenges of poor accuracy/generalization, low reliability, and weak autonomy in signal-denied areas—specifically challenging scenarios such as tunnels, urban canyons, and underground spaces—this presentation focuses on the theme of "Data and physical model dual-driven navigation using self-contained sensors under harsh environments." By leveraging multi-level integrated micro-sensor devices, a high-precision, universal, and trustworthy autonomous collaborative positioning method is established and practically deployed. The speaker will analyze the research background and societal demands, detail the dual-driven algorithmic methodology and experimental results in these harsh environments, and discuss the future outlook of autonomous navigation.
